The College maintains a well-stocked, Computarised Library.
The College also provides the students with journals and newspapers at the library complex.
With spacious and well illuminated reading rooms, the library creates an atmosphere ideal for reading and studying.
The library also provides Internet facility to the staff and students of the College, making assignment-based teaching an enjoyable activity.
Library facilities are not only provided to students, faculty and staff of the Calvary Bible College (CBC) but persons from other spheres as well (Read rules and guidelines for more details).
The college subscribes to many popular journals.
The library also has 5 dedicated machines that are full time available to the students for browsing. It also provides additional services like :

1. To become a member, an applicant must fill out the Library
Registration Form and submit it to the Principal, Calvary
Bible College.
2. The library is primarily for the use of students, faculty and
staff of the Calvary Bible College (CBC).
3. Members of the UPC of NEI can also become library
members under "Other Categories" on payment of
Rs.200/- (Library Fee) and a refundable Security Deposit
of Rs. 300/-.
4. Students, Research Scholars and Faculty of other
Institutions may also avail the library facilities for a
short period by submitting a request and after duly
obtaining a written permission of the Principal, CBC. Such
requests must invariably be accompanied by an
endorsement from the concerned Head of Institution/
Department on official letterhead. Such temporary
membership shall be for consultation, reference, and
photocopying services only. Consultation Fee @ Rs.100/
- per week shall be paid by such temporary members.
5. The library timings are as follows:

Night 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (Summer)
7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Winter)
Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. (Morning)
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Day)
6. The library shall be closed on Sundays and also on Church
Holidays as notified from time to time.
7. The privilege of borrowing books from the library is
restricted to registered library members only.
8. A registered library member is entitled to borrow a
maximum of 3 (three) books at a time for a period of
3 (three) days.
9. A registered Faculty member is entitled to borrow a
maximum of 10 (ten) books at a time for a period of
30 (thirty) days.
10. Fines shall be realised against books kept beyond the
due date @ Rs.2/- per day for the first three days and
Rs.5/- per day from the fourth day onwards. No books
will be issued to any library member against whom there
is an overdue book.
11. Books marked “R” are for reference/reading inside the
library and are not for issue.
12. Journals/magazines/newsletters/newspapers are not for
issue.
13. A book will only be issued to a Library member against
production of Library Card issued by the CBC Library.
No books will be issued in absentia.
14. The Library Card issued to the CBC Students will be
valid for a period of three years or fours years depending
on their degree courses.
15. Library Card of the Faculty members will be valid for a
period of 5 years for Full-Time Faculty, and for a period
of 1 year for Guest Lecturers.
16. Final Year CBC Students must return all borrowed books
and submit their Library Cards within 1 (one) week of
completion of the final examinations, failing which their
results may be withheld.
17. The Principal, CBC reserves the right to recall any book
from any library member at any time if such a book is on
special or urgent demand.
18. A book borrowed from the library may be re-issued
(renewed) for a further period if no other library
member has reserved the same.
19. Library members are responsible for the safe custody of
the Library Card issued to them.
20. Tampering with the entries/records on the Library Card
can attract suspension of library membership.
21. Library members/visitors must not cause any disturbance
or engage in any behaviour that disrupts library activities.
22. Library members/visitors are not allowed to carry items
such as personal books, handbags, plastic bags, CDs/
DVDs, etc., into the Library. Such items must be kept at
the personal property shelf located near the library
entrance. The library shall not be responsible for the safety
of personal items and cash kept at the personal property
shelf.
23. Library members/visitors must maintain silence inside the
library. Mobile handsets must be switched off or set in
vibration/silent mode inside the library.
24. The library shall not be responsible in the event of loss or
misplacement of personal items such as laptops/palmtops,
PDAs, mobile handsets, cash wallets/purses, CDs/DVDs,
Pen Drives, hands-free gadgets, headphones, etc., left
unattended anywhere inside the library.
25. Sleeping inside the library is not allowed.
26. Loss of Library Card must be reported immediately to
the Principal, CBC.
27. A duplicate Library Card will be issued on payment of
Rs. 250/- after 7 (seven) working days from the date of
application.
28. A library member shall be held fully responsible for any
loss or damage which the library may incur due to the
loss/misplacement and/or misuse of his/her Library Card.
29. In case of loss of a book, the borrower shall either replace
the book or bear its cost. If the book of a multi volume
set is damaged or lost the borrower concerned shall
replace the entire set.
30. The Library Card is not transferable.
31. Library members/visitors must not replace the books back
on the shelves. Books must be left on the reading table
after consulting them.
32. Library members/visitors must not remove or attempt to
take library books, equipment or furniture without proper
checkout or official authorization.
33. Library members/visitors must not mutilate library materials
by marking, underlining, dog-earing, removing pages or
portions of pages, removing binding/dust jacket or in any
other way damage or deface library materials.
34. Library members/visitors must not enter restricted areas
of the library, or remain in the library after closing time or
refuse to leave the library when asked to leave.
35. Library members/visitors shall be required to pay the
penalty imposed upon them for any damage caused
by them to the books or any other library property.
36. Any damage or missing pages detected in a book must
be reported to the staff before borrowing the same,
failing which the borrower shall be held responsible for
the damage/mutilation.
37. Library members/visitors must record the time of their
entry into, and exit from, the library in the register
kept near the library entrance.
38. Upon violation of any of the library rules, a member is
liable to forfeit the privilege of membership of, and entry
into, the library.
39. The library membership of any member caught tearing
pages or attempting to steal books shall be suspended
forthwith and further disciplinary action initiated by the
Principal, Calvary Bible College.
40. Prior permission of the Principal, CBC must be obtained
if library members intend to bring casual visitors/friends
or outsiders to the library.
41. Persons who are inappropriately dressed, intoxicated or
of unsound mind are not allowed to enter the library.
42. Library members/visitors are not allowed to bring their
pets along with them into the library.
43. Library members/visitors are not allowed to bring eatables
inside the library.
44. The Principal, CBC reserves the right to suspend the
membership of any library member found causing
damage to the library property, misbehaving with other
library members or the library staff, or disrupting the
peaceful library atmosphere.
